WASTE REDUCTION AND DIVERSION
IS relationships help link waste from one process as feedstock for another. This results in virgin materials being substituted by ‘wastes’ and transforms them into valuable products.
IS reduces business costs, diversifies revenue streams, and fosters innovation. In the UK, 20% of all implemented opportunities involved innovation.
